$1.5 Million in Media Support for a Capital Campaign
After serving St. Louis for more than 120 years, a community organization sought to energize its legacy to serve future generations and embarked on a $50 million capital campaign, its largest ever. It engaged Casey Communications to help develop and communicate key messages and raise awareness of the campaign’s primary goal – to improve aging facilities so that they could better host creative family fitness and cultural programs.

Casey teamed with multiple campaign consultants hired for each phase of the campaign. It captured key thoughts to formulate a single unifying mission message that served as the foundation for the campaign. That message clearly and concisely spoke to the organization’s enduring legacy and its vibrant future.

Solutions included:

  • Designing a PowerPoint presentation to solicit donors;
  • Developing website content; and
  • Conceiving and managing a media campaign that complemented the mission message.

As a result, the organization reached its fund-raising goal and is ushering in a new era of fitness and cultural programs in state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, the program significantly raised the profile of the organization. In only 18 months, Casey Communications placed more than 150 stories in 20 media outlets. The value of those placements exceeded $1.5 million.
